Cavapoo Puppies

Those who've never owned a pet, might not yet comprehend the magnitude of the situation they’re about to encounter. Becoming a pet owner is a huge responsibility because there are numerous things to learn about each species and each in particular. Several decades of experience have taught us, Hill Peak Pups, that, just like humans, animals are all different from one another and learning what makes each specimen, in particular, can be an exhilarating experience.

Our most prized assets are the Cavapoo puppies, some of the sweetest and most adorable dogs in the world. But, as you may already know, it is not enough to love animals; you must also know how to care for them. In some cases, even people who love them will end up making bad decisions about their care routine, only because of not knowing too much about them.

Furthermore, it is just as important to get to know your pet in particular. Despite all dogs belonging to the same species, not all of them require the same type of care.

In case of the Cavapoo (also known as Cavoodle), there are some basic tips to keep in mind:

Tip 1: Give your dog the freedom it needs

Cavapoos are crossbreed dogs, coming from a Puddle mother and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel father (or the other way around). The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, however, has hunting ancestors, and some of their volcanic blood has passed on to the Cavapoos. So, make sure your Cavapoo puppies have plenty of room to run around, preferably outdoors. Just make sure to have fences guarding their wild and curious nature.

Tip 2: Train the dog

It pretty much goes without saying that this is the go-to technique whenever you get a puppy. Training the dog means instructing it to know what you want and what you don’t want of him. All dogs want is to please you in any way they can, and there is no way of communicating with him more effectively than through basic training.

Tip 3: Care for his wellbeing

There are a lot of things that could be mentioned here, from the dog’s diet, to regular exercising, to keep him in shape, and to regular vet check-ups, making sure everything is smooth, as it should be. When held in good care, Cavapoos can live more than a decade. However, pay attention to their health, since they are known to be prone to hereditary heart disease.

Tip 4: Do some research in advance

This way you will find other useful tips on how to maintain your pet healthy and happy for longer. For instance, if you’re allergic to dog hair, you might want to skip this breed; the same goes if you can’t ensure your pet a comfortable living environment since Cavapoo puppies are known to be sensitive to excessive heat or cold for that matter.

If, after all, said and done, you have decided to go for it, here, at Hill Peak Pups, is where you’ll find your best friend. We are confident that the Cavapoos’ loving nature will melt your heart in an instant.
